WEEK 16

Project execution was done. 

• We were bit unsure about the children's attending since it was a holiday. But most of the students attend the program . 
• All the planned programs were held very successfully. 
• We got really nice and encouraging feedbacks from school teachers. 
• Engagement of the school children was also very good. 
• It was a very interesting and novel experience do this kind of outreach program specially among school children. We felt so satisfied and proud of ourselves for planning and executing the project for 16 weeks.

WEEK 15

Final preparation for the execution was done this week. Although we did not know when we would be doing the project exactly, the fuel crisis began. Transportation was a major limitation in executing the project.

We arranged milk packets as refreshments for schoolchildren. Since milk prices have also increased, we have to think about alternatives like yogurt or fruit.

Dr. Harshi asked us to create an innovative idea for the seminar session. We also discussed those ideas among group members.

We have finalized the ideas and plans according to the suggestions from Dr. Thushanthi, the resource person, and our group members. During this time, we have faced transportation problems,  and refreshment issues other things were sorted out

The finalized plans were discussed and brought to an end. The project was about to be executed in the next week, the 13th week.

Week 11

We have collected posters from the batchmates and handed them over to Dr. Thushanthi Perera to select the best three posters.

We have confirmed  Dr. Harshi as a resource person for conducting the seminar.

Due to Mr. Sampath's absence, Ms. K. A. Chathurangani was approached and confirmed as a physical activity instructor.

We have prepared the presentation slides for the 2nd progress meeting.

Week 10

Week 09

We decided to collect the posters from our batchmates but not as competition due to the power interruptions.  So the purpose of the poster presentation is to expect content, and guidelines to be communicated to relevant parties.

What have we done this week?

Informing batchmates about the poster competition and preparing for it.

We informed our batchmates via WhatsApp message, informing them of the poster competition. That message consists of four subjects: poster size; font size; font type; and deadline of the competition.

Get approval from the course coordinator and share the promotional contracts.
